QUESTIONS FROM SUPPORTERS

A clear path
to a conversation.

Can I help with less than $700?

Yes. You can discuss a smaller contribution towards the pooled pilot, practical support or another form of partnership. The school and contributing partners will agree allocation and confirm what the available funding can support before awards are made.

What does the $700 donor share cover?

It is the proposed annual balance of a learner’s stated $1,150 school charges after the school contributes $450. The school will confirm the fee-inclusions schedule before a funding agreement, including how boarding, meals, examinations, uniforms and materials are treated.

Who selects the sponsored learners?

The proposal places selection and fund allocation under joint school, community and contributing-partner oversight, using agreed educational eligibility and financial-need criteria. The framework is to be approved before implementation.

How will supporters receive updates?

Termly educational progress and financial reporting are proposed. The reporting format, information access and responsibilities will be agreed with contributing partners. Student dignity and confidentiality remain part of those arrangements.

Can we meet the school before deciding?

Yes. Use the enquiry form to request an online conversation or a physical meeting or supervised school visit in Juba. Dates and arrangements must be confirmed with the school.

Can I make a payment here or claim a tax deduction?

The website does not process payments. Ask the school for verified institutional payment details before transferring funds. No overseas charitable registration or tax deduction is claimed; any eligible intermediary arrangement must be agreed and verified separately.
